CHARM joins the research community in celebrating our postdoctoral fellows as part of National Postdoc Appreciation Week! Allow us to introduce you to three people who are helping to advance CHARM’s research, contributing to our materials community through their science, leadership, and mentorship.

Dr. Quang To develops models of solid-state systems, spin transport, and THz emission from spintronic devices as well as interactions among THz excitations in hybrid heterostructure. He is a true connector—collaborating with with Drs. Doty, Law, Bryant, and Janotti and their students supporting IRG2.

Dr. Tianren Zhang conducts computational modeling of hybrid synthetic peptide-based polymers. He bridges our collaboration between Drs. Pochan (University of Delaware) and Saven (University of Pennsylvania), building on our bundlemer research in IRG1.

Dr. Yinzhi Fang designs and implements custom synthesis projects that enable multidisciplinary research on campus. He is an important part of the Synthetic Chemistry Core working with Dr. Fox and supporting various research across IRG1.

Thank you, to each of our postdocs, for your contributions to the CHARM team!
