CHARM Interviewer (CI): In technical language, what is the research you do here at CHARM?
Charles Ameyaw (CA): In my CHARM related research, I aim to investigate the surface plasmon dynamics of Topological Insulators using Time -Resolved Magneto-Optical Kerr Effect.
CI: What is a skill you would like to build on while being a part of CHARM?
CA: The teamwork spirit, and this will be achieved with by engaging in more interdisciplinary research and cross-communication.
CI: What’s your favorite part of being with CHARM?
CA: My favorite part of belonging to CHARM is getting to engage in interesting revolutionary research work as well as collaborating with other researchers or students on these research activities.
CI: Are there any other student/campus organizations you belong to?
CA: The Materials Research Society (MRS).
CI: What do you enjoy doing on your downtime outside of the lab?
CA: Hiking, Roadtrips, and bicycle riding.
