Prof. LaShanda Korley, CHARM Co-Director and Distinguished Professor of Material Science and Engineering at the University of Delaware, has been elected by her peers as a 2022 American Physical Society Fellow. Each year, APS recognizes members who, “have made advances in physics through original research and publication, or made significant innovative contributions in the application of physics to science and technology.”

This year, Prof. Korley was selected for her work on, “innovative bio-inspired strategies to control architecture, assembly, and mechanics of soft material systems.”
