Influential chemists and chemical engineers highlighted by ACS for Black History Month
To honor African American History Month, the American Chemical Society (ACS) is celebrating Black chemists and chemical engineers advancing their fields in new and exciting ways. CHARM Director, Prof. Thomas Epps, III, is highlighted in this video alongside six colleagues from across the United States: Dr. Paula Hammond, Professor and Chair of MIT’s Department of Chemical Engineering; Dr. Steven Townsend, Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry at Vanderbilt University; Dr. Malika Jeffries-EL, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Boston University; Dr. Jason Sello, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco; Dr. Tobi Odeleye, Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma; and Dr. Elissia Franklin, Postdoctoral Associate at Purdue University.
